Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. The rooms could definitely do with some updating as they felt like they've not been touched in decades, but at least the location was convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the boardwalk. While it wasn't the host hotel for my conference, it served its purpose.
I was persuaded by the front desk clerk to upgrade to an oceanfront room, which turned out to be an end unit. The standard hotel room size was decent, but we encountered issues such as a broken toilet and safe. The hotel is in serious need of renovation and the staff could benefit from attitude training. However, the friendly service and the location between Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach were positives. The cafe's egg dishes cooked to order were a highlight, but they couldn't make up for the poor quality of the accommodations.
The hotel had a spectacular location with great views of Myrtle Beach just steps away. The rooms were fine for the price but could use some updating. Despite some minor issues, my overall stay was excellent.
